For devices, such as smart phones, that have a QR reader installed the reader can be used to scan the code and connect the device to a website (or have it dial a phone number, start an email to a specified email address, etc.) that the QR that is embedded in the QR code.
Why use a QR code?
Rather than rely on someone to remember or type in information, your target audience can just scan the code and have their device do the work. If someone is interested, once their smart device had the information they can refer to it at a later date or deal with it on the spot.

There is a good article written by Peter Wright on tire barriers at: http://www.grandprix.com/ft/ftpw016.html, although the article was written back in 2001 it is still relevant. For those that were not aware The SCCBC Track Ops committee, along with other volunteers, plans on adding conveyer belting to some of the tires at Mission Raceway Park Road Course. The speed of the process will depend on how many show up at SCCBC work parties, as several of the existing tire walls need too be rebuilt.
